NSI 2017!

5/11/2017

We can't wait to see you at the Northwest Suzuki Institute, July 31- August 4!
Register soon: prices go up the longer you wait.
We'd love to have you join us this summer!

We're getting excited...

1/7/2015

It's chilly outside, but we're thinking about the warm summer week of July 26-31 and all the fun we'll be having at this year's camp!

Our 2015 faculty are posted, and the website is updated: check back later this week for a registration form and get signed up early!

It's never too early to start reviewing all of your pieces on the repertoire list, or starting that 100-Day Challenge to join this year's club at camp.

Remember: bring a new friend to camp who's never before attended, and your family will enjoy a referral discount!

Counting down the months...

Honors Recital

7/17/2013

This is very exciting! The performers for the Honors Recital have been chosen and they will have a chance to play in Beall Hall in the same evening as the faculty! The performance will take place on the evening of Thursday, August 1.

The performers are:

Miranda Newman, Sophie Phillips-Meadow, and Taylor Bennett.

Congratulations!

What an awesome week we had at camp! Fiddle, taiko drums, dancing and weaving the ribbons of a May pole... Makes you look forward to NSI 2013! Thanks, campers and faculty.
Email your camp videos and photos to northwestsuzukiinstitute@gmail.com. This picture of part of the NSI 2012 faculty is a courtesy of teacher Gail Acosta.

It is today!

Soon we all will be on Beall Hall stage for an exciting play-in!

Announcing the NSI’s First Used Book Sale

7/25/2012

The book sale is designed to help the NSI to increase the available funds for scholarships. In 2012, we were able to provide a small number of scholarships thanks to generous individual donations to the NSI Scholarship Fund. To increase our ability to help families in need attend the NSI, we want to encourage you to donate to our Scholarship Fund for next year and to contribute to our used book sale.
Suzuki materials (books and CDs), reading books (such as “I Can Read Music” or other titles), and sheet music are welcome. We will also accept any non-music related paperbacks and hardcovers you might want to donate.
Shoulder-rests, metronomes, stand-lights, rock stops, mutes and other accessories will also be considered if they are in working condition.
We will collect the books and accessories during the registration time.

Orientation and Registration Packets

7/16/2012

We are finishing the Orientation Packets that will be e-mailed to the enrolled families soon! You will find information about the Registration process (July 29, after 2:30pm) and the Play-in at 4pm in Beall Hall.
